Copyright/IP Policy

Creativity Unlimited respects the intellectual property of others, and asks everyone affiliated in every way to the company to do the same. Respect our intellectual property by asking for permission to use something you do not own, and be sure that a project or service we complete for you fully belongs to you before using it in other ways than we discussed.

The vast majority of projects or services fully belong to the client. Creativity Unlimited will only retain the rights to a project or service if the client agrees. If we desire to retain the rights to a project or service due to the fact that we already owned it or desire to own it, we will let you know ahead of time, and may choose to relinquish rights if prompted or requested.

If you believe that your work has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, or that your intellectual property rights have been otherwise violated, please provide Creativity Unlimited with the following information:

1. a signature, whether electronic or physical, of the person who is authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the copyright or other intellectual property interest;

2. a description of the copyrighted work or other intellectual property that you claim has been infringed;

3. a description of where the material that you claim is infringing is located, with enough detail that we may find it and evaluate it;

4. your address, telephone number, and email address;

5. a statement that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright or intellectual property owner, its agent, or the law;

6. a statement by you, made under penalty of perjury, that “the above information is accurate” and that you are “the copyright or intellectual property owner” or “authorized to act on the copyright or intellectual property owner's behalf”;

7. a specific and detailed location of the original work or property you claim was infringed by Creativity Unlimited, detailed and specific enough that we can locate and evaluate it.
